TIVO HD + External Drive + Moving old Weaknees drive = work/fail?

Hi,

I am looking to know if this is possible. Thanks to Santa, I got a new TIVO HD and a Western Digital WDG1S5000VN 500GB My DVR Expander external drive.

I ALSO have a Tivo Series 2 with a 500GB Weaknees drive I added to it.

Is it possible to move the drive from the Series 2 into the new HD model? If so, will it work well with the external drive too (for a total of 1TB? of additional storage?)

The drive in your Series2 will unfortunately not work in the TiVoHD--either as an external or an internal.
