Clear and delete interrupted

I swapped out a hardrive in a Sony ST-60 and then began performing a clear and delete as I was having error #51. Clear and delete was interrupted by overheating -- (I swapped out the whole hard-drve rack and the one installed had a socket fan plug, instead of a two and I plugged it in wrong, missing a socket.)

When started up now I get nothing at all, just a black screen. Did I fry it? It was giving me a too hot message when I turned it off to cool, but now nothing. Any suggestions.

Sounds like some other problem - maybe a bad power supply, or maybe a disconnected internal cable.

If you resume a clear and delete after pulling the plug, it shouldn't be a problem.

Been here a long time . . .

solved it, finally!! during the re-hook-up after the overheat I accidently hit the ouput switch changing it from channel 3 to 4!
