I have a HDR312 with two 13 gig quantam fireball hard disk drives, including lifetime service. Recently the tivo will not start up. it says its almost there then it goes back to the startup screen. I think I have the problem isolated to the b drive being bad. I was going to replace the 2 drive system with one larger drive using mfstools. Is have an 80 gig drive that I was want to copy the image to. Since the b drive is unreadable, I cannot make an image of the drives. Is there a way I can get an image to copy to this drive? Or any other solution?
