I have a Philips TiVo HDR312 TV receiver purchased in Dec 2000. Upgraded hard drive with Weaknees years ago. Still works great. Just had Verizon FIOS Tv installed--one HD the other just a "plain" box (TiVo's). Installer looked for a card slot, of course none there. He said "no problem" and hooked it up. Of course it doesn't work. If I click on View Live TV, if I don't keep on channel 3 I can't use FIOS. I also can't record with TiVo because it still shows the Comcast channel numbers and if I move off of channel it's all blank. I can still play those shows recorded before this change. I tried the Reset process numerous times but no luck. I can only assume my TiVo is too old or it's hooked up wrong. I think the box is a single tuner and maybe he hooked it up wrong. Any thoughts?
