I searched for this but could not find it.
Recently I bought a used tivo from ebay model# 540040. When I got it it was stuck on the powering up screen. It has had the twin breeze upgrade add on kit added.
Now It think that the original hard drive didn't make the trip to my house very well.
My plan was to replace the two drives with one from WK and I have a replace kit on the way. It occurs to me that the add on drive may still be good and the original drive being older is the most likely the culprit.
My question is can I just replace my the original drive with the one I have coming and maintain the two drive setup or would I have needed to buy a drive set up for two drives. I don't want to screw up the new drive by installing it with the other one so I won't even try it unless I hear that it is OK. I have been without tivo for too long already(my other one quit recording live tv)
Thanks for any info.
