i own a dual tivo but the modem got burnt out when my home was hit by lightning so i want to use it to just tape shows for my kids but i cant get around guided set up and go straight to live tv setting. I called tivo and they told me to try you guys. Please help me

thanks but what i want t do is get around guided set up. I already got a new tivo but my old one can still work as a vcr/dvr for my kids. I just dont know any tricks to get around guided setup. Tivo said you guys might have the right button combination to get around this.

You have no choice but to go through guided setup.
