Unit started freezing up. Replaced hard drive and IDE cable. Unit worked for a couple of days then froze up again. When I rebooted it never got past powering up screen. Then this morning when I attempted to reboot, the unit does not even power up. Is this likely a power supply problem?

You have no lights, no power at all to the unit?

Without the other symptoms, I'd say that's a bad hard drive, but I think the problem is that the power supply doesn't have enough voltage to get the hard drive spinning, so the problem is masking itself as a bad drive, when it really is the power supply.
If you ever get a situation with no lights and no video, that's almost always the power supply.Been here a long time . . .
