For some reason, my reception looks like it would during a severe rainstorm. Strangely, it seems that it is just the lower channels, below 260, that are effected by this anomaly. Moreover, it doesn't happen all the time.

What makes this more odd is that I have another tv/tivo setup in another room running off of the same satellite dish and it works fine.

My satellite has a clear view, I checked the connections and they seem to be secure and tight.

I am wondering whether it could be my terk multiswitch going bad. It used to be warm in operation but isn’t now. Yet, why would one TV work and not another?

I also thought it might have something to do with my RCA Tivo recorder. I have a new hard drive but this was going on before my last hard drive went out and with the new hard drive, my system has the same problem.

Any suggestions or ideas??
