Bad Hard Drive again?

Hi

I have a Phillips DSR 704 Direct TV TIVO. The video freezes for a few seconds while the sound keeps going and then the sound stops and I get a black screen for a minute or so and then its back to playing my saved program again. I think the hard drive I purchased from Weaknees in October 2006 is failing. Is this a normal time for the replacement drives to last or could I have another problem?

It should last longer, on average, but that really does sound like a failing hard drive.

Been here a long time . . .
