  • after power outage, no programming!

    Can someone help me...we were without power for 72 hrs. and consequently my TiVo cannot seem to acquire programming info now, (after spending over 2 hrs last night going through the manual connecting) It said, my attempt to connect and download programming was 'successful', however, it still shows NO info in the programming guide. Any ideas of what I should try next? (I've disconnected all connections and restarted, but this hasnt helped) I have my tivo connected through my phone line (which now works). Cable connection without box.

    It may just be taking time to index the new data. Have you let it sit, on, for twelve hours?

      I have not 'let it sit on for 12 hrs' Not to be stupid, but do you mean literally just leave my tivo (and tv) on for 12 hrs??? I was under the impression it did not have to be on to connect (the tivo light is always no, but not necessarily the tv too)
