I am getting this message from my Tivo 2 and it is not budging from here. I have disconnect the power cord a few times and had the system start up but when it gets to this screen it just hangs there forever. Is this a problems associated with needing a new drive because I have already ordered one? The light on the front of the unit turns on (if that's any help). I have had this unit for around 3-4 years now.

That's almost definitely a hard drive problem. A "replace" kit for your model should fix the problem:
