I recently had my power out for 2 days and when it came back on my Tivo became stuck at "Welcome, powering up". I figured it was the power supply so I crack the case and started it up to see if everything is powering up. The harddrive, and fan spin up, however my TIVO usb wireless G modem doesn't light up. I can hear the harddrive reading/writing to the drive for a while and then it stops and read/writes to the drive like every 2 seconds or so. So could this be data damage? Would Spinrite fix this? Do you think it's still the power supply? Like I said earlier the Harddrive and fan do spin up and seem to work just fine. I haven't hooked the Tivo's harddrive up yet to my linux box to see if it's okay. Might do that next. Any suggestions? Model 540040
