Tivo for beach house

I would like to take one of my tivos to our place at the beach. We spend maybe a month down there total all year and, it is just not worth it to get a new service. Is it possible to get a satelite dish and just hook my tivo up for when I am down there?

It's definitely possible, and we sell dishes, but we really don't know whether DirecTV allows that or not.
