  • Power Supply..Dual Voltage or 220v available?

Are dual voltage or 220 Volt power supplies availabe for any Tivo? I dont want to run external power transformers as they suck the energy bill.

I am in Germany and want to use Tivo Series 2 with AFN (Military Satellite TV)
There are threads on Tivo forums about Tivo unofficially supporting AFN. It works but I don't want to run a voltage transformer in my house since that runs the electric bill up.
I have managed to buy new power supply for things like xbox and make all my stuff dual volt.
I saw a tivo.uk official page so I imagine the power is 220 volt on Uk models but I need American tivo.

But would you even get NTSC signal there? Or would you just use it for the networking features?

We don't know of any 220 V power supplies for US TiVos.

The output on the Scientific Atlanta Power Vu Decoder is NTSC Composite.

Have you ever took apart a UK Tivo http://www.uk.tivo.com/ ? I wonder what the inside looks like compared to a US Tivo.
