Compatible Hard Drive Question

I have a Hughes DirecTivo SD DVR 40, with a 40 hour capacity. I also have a 120 hour hard drive that I removed from a Hughes HDVR2 (originally bought from Weaknees and still working when I removed it). My question is, can I install this drive in the SD DVR 40, or will it be incompatible?

It'll work in that unit if it has 6.3f software or later. You'll have to do a "clear and delete everything" to get it to re-serialize when it's in the SD-DVR40. Otherwise, you'll get a hardware error.
