I apologize if this has already been answered, but my search did not find it.
1. I am upgrading to HD. Is it possible (or is there a service) for moving existing recordings on my SD-DVR40 to the new HR-21?
2. If not, can I use my old SD-DVR40 as a "playback only device?" I would be willing to pay the "extra receiver" charge for a few months to keep the access card active, but I WOULD NOT have any satellite inputs connected to the SD-DVR40.
