Last August both my SIL & myself started having the same problem with our Phillips Directv Tivo's. We live about 5 minutes apart & the problems started about a week apart. We kept getting messages daily that calls were not being made. They have been, but these Tivo's think they haven't.
So since my kids had completely cleared off the recorder, I thought I would finally take Directv's advice & do a full erase and reset on the Tivo.
There is a message that says it could take up to 1 hour & not to unplug it. It has been over 2 hours now. At what point do I try unplugging it & praying it works?????
Directv wanted me to try this on my R10 that keeps freezing, but after this experience I definitely don't want to try that!
