Series 2 dont swap channel to record

My series 2 sometimes doesnt interface with my Comcast cable box for it to change from the channel it is currently on to the correct channel it is supposed to move to for the scheduled recording.The Tivo actually changes to the correct channel and the on screen listing shows the correct channel and program, but the cablebox (comcast) doesnt change to the scheduled recording . Any thoughts on the problem. Thanks

That's likely an IR blaster that needs a little physical adjustment. Make sure it's aimed straight at the IR receiver on the cable box.
