I have a Samsung 4080r that is freezing and re-booting on an increasing basis (two or three times/day). After reading other threads, I suspect this is a hard drive failure, and I'm interested in getting a new drive. If I replace the drive, and the problem persists, can I return the drive to weaKnees?
Since there's a chance that this is also a board failure, and the unit has had previous problems, I would hate to put too much money into making a repair. What's my best option for staying up and running before the "new" direcTV Tivo units are available?
