I got my son's Humax DRT800 recording Humax (I have and use one all the time just like it) and attached it to a cable box and tv where I had a very old 40 hour tivo, but I could not get it off of bypass (could not see the startup screen to set it up). Any suggestions? I set it up with the cable box into the RF in, and the cable out of the RF out to the tv (the TV only takes a cable input - it is a very old tv - no input except that type). It says bypass between the cable input and output, but I do not want to use it as a bypass - what do I change to make it work properly, to have the cable go into the tivo unit, through the tivo then out to the tv? Obviously I have lost my instruction manuals.
