Hello all,

I am looking to add a stand alone tivo unit to hook up to a Free To Air (FTA) satellite system.

My problem is, I want to put the new tivo unit in the same room as my Direct tv (direct tv plus (tivo like) receiver. (I use a signal extender to control these boxes from another room)

I need to know if the remote is different on the Humax than on the Direct tv unit. I have the peanut remote controlling the direct tv dvr. I don't want the 2 remotes to conflict. Will the remote on the Humax be different than the peanut remote?

Sorry for such a long winded question.
