My HDVR2 2nd tuner is going out on one of my units(160 Hours). I have a second unit, with two good tuners. Can I just swap out the hard drives and install it into my good unit, without losing the information or shows?
If the unit models are the same, you can move the drive, but you will have to perform a 'clear and delete everything' after the move. This will wipe the drive and the contents.
