Hughes HDVR2 with Weaknees upgrade. Works fine...has for years. But (there is always a "but"), I notice that when there are "Suggestions" to record shows on local channels, there is also a note that says I can't record them until I contact Directv and order the locals.

Of course, I have locals and can record them but not through "Suggestions". Non-local's (ESPN for example) can be recorded through "Suggestions".

A call to Directv got me an answer of "we've never heard of this before, must be something wrong" which wasn't really helpful. Duh. Obviously, I've rebooted the machine, checked to see that all the locals are checked as "channels I receive".

Any suggestions?
