Definitely a good question - we don't have a great answer (yet).
Where did you see each of those? Are they from maybe a Toshiba or Pioneer machine?
We can start a list here. We see enough TiVos in the office that we should be able to get this moving fairly quickly.Been here a long time . . . -

Cool, thanks for the response. Yes, both are from RS-TX20s that i purchased on ebay. So, other than being able to get basic service, I'm not sure of the history of these.

19: Tivo Basic (FT Not Possible) K: 122306
I'm not real sure what it means by FT Possible or not possible. Does it mean that you can get the 45 day trial (which i do not see in any of the menus)?

I checked another lifetime Series2 and got the same as above.
