I have a Tivo TCD2400a which I had upgraded to a 120gb A and 80gb B all mounted on a nice Weakknees bracket with Twinbreeze. Ran great for 3 years and one of the drives started dieing. So got a new Seagate 160mb and used MFSLive to backup the orginial (40gb) I had put aside onto the 120.

Put in tivo and all was well after putting it on the network it downloaded new service update and now is in loop of "preparing the service update" I let it run overnight forced a hard reboot.. Power.. and it is back there again.

Two questions:
1. is there anyway to force it to compleate
2. As an alternate does anyone have a Backup of TCD2400A with current software they can share ?
