Support for 1080p on Series3 HD Model

Do you know if Tivo has any plan to support the 1080p format on the Series3 HD units via software updates? I saw the 1080p wording on the front of my Series3 HD LED panel. It's not illimunated but it's there. I know currently broadcast TV and cable companies don't broadcast in 1080p. My TV supports 1080p. I'm just wondering when broadcast TV and/or cable companies support 1080p format, can I perform a software upgrade on the Series3 HD unit to support 1080p? Thanks.

Right now, there is effectively nothing broadcast in 1080p (by cable or satellite providers). I don't think there is any official word on 1080p's future in TiVos.
