How do I migrate existing programs to a new TIVO

My daughter has over 280 programs stored on my existing Toshiba TX20, upgrade to now include a 400G drive. Am considering getting a new HD box. How would I go about moving this content to the new unit?

It seemed that using FTP might be an option for me, but as I trolled through various forums, it seems that the TX20 is NOT hackable without hardware mods. Is this true.

Any advice would be appeciated.

I have TiVo2Go set up on one of my machines, which solves the problem of getting programs off of my existing TX20 unit, but how do I get into a new unit?

Also, is it true that I can't FTP to my TX20? and if I buy I new unit, are they similarly limited?

You can use TiVo Desktop to move content from your PC to another TiVo on your network.
