DIRECTV vs Cable

I'm new here and imagine this question has been asked before/elsewhere, but...I'm moving from Directv to Cable. Can I use my Directv tivo or Phillips DSR 7000 tivo units w/cable?

What will I lose using Tivo w/cable compared to Directv?

Sorry to say, that unit won't work at all with cable.

But if you get a TiVo for cable (we have many models on our site, for SD and HD, DVD, etc.) you'll get far more features including networking.

Been here a long time . . .
