Cable Card error 161-2

I am getting this same message since install intermittently. Cable Card 2 error 161-2 and the damn machine gets caught in a total SNAFU. It won't do anything except repeat the error. I have had Cablevision out here three times with 12 different card and none of them work. I believe my unit was faulty on the card slot from Weaknees. Is this possible? I am so frustrated I actually am going to go back to DirecTv and use their carappy HR-20. The box is brand new. Any thoughts?

That really does sound like a bad CableCARD slot. They are few and far between, but we have seen bad CableCARD slots - email us at [email protected] and we should be able to swap it out.
