I'm getting ready to purchase a TiVo HD unit (from Weaknees, of course...), but I'm curious about the differences between the "home theater" and "value" editions. Seems like the only differences for the approximately $100 price variation (given the current rebates) is a packed-in HDMI cable, a "glo" remote and the location of the CableCARD slot. Is that it? Are there any performance differences?
Also, I have two Series 2 boxes currently that use wireless adapters to connect to our home network. From everyone's experience, will I be able to use either of them (sorry I don't have the brands in front of me) or has TiVo made it where its own adapter is the "preferred" (read: only) choice?
Thanks in advance...
