I have the closed captioning turned off under my settings but I keep getting closed captioning everytime I try to record anything on ABC. The CC is not shown when I watch the show live but only appears when I play the recording. And what's even more wierd it that if I change the channel and even go to Tivo Central the last closed captioning message that was on ABC still travels and sticks to the screen. The only way I can get the frozen closed caption to disapear is to go back to the ABC recording and forward to a commerical where there are no CC and then change the channel. So is this caused by my Tivo, my cable complany, or ABC specifically. And why if it's not Tivo does it still stay frozen on the screen if I leave the station? It's only on ABC and I've never ran into a simiar problem when watching any other recorded channels.
