TiVo HD Series 3 and OTA programming

Hello

My wife wants a new TiVo HD to go with the new plasma...
But the description is really confusing to me. I have no cable, no Direct TV, no Dish Network, just a plain old antenna on my roof. The Series 2 I have works fine, show listing, season passes and all are correct with over the air (OTA) analog channels. My question is will the TiVo HD work the same way with just an antenna on the roof receiving high definition digital channels? The new plasma receives just about 40 channels of HD programming over the air with the roof top antenna. What's confusing me is all over the place TiVo says "TiVo HD and TiVo Series3™ HD may require two CableCARDs to receive two digital cable channels." I'm left hanging as to whether it all works with a plain old roof top antenna.

I'm in Denver pulling from two directional UHF antennas HD signals to my new series 3 HD box. It works great. It was a snap to set up and the picture replay is crystal clear. The only "bug" I have is when we record by a show title the box records both the analog and digital channel. I haven't figured out a way to shut off the analog so I constantly erase the inferior duplicate.
