    How do I enable 30 second skip on TiVo HD?

    How do I enable 30 second skip on TiVo HD? I followed the directions to the letter and it doesn't seem to be working. The sound cuts out for about a second but I don't hear any beeps or boings and 30 forward skip button doesn't skip 30 seconds, only about 1 or 2 seconds.

    Any ideas?

    Well I take that back, it looks like it did work, however contrary to the instructions, no acknowledgment sound was given.

      If you have your "bongs" turned off, you won't hear confirmation.

        30 sec skip -- hate it!

        Well, not exactly. But we really miss having the "skip to end" button. How to I un-do this "feature"?

          Just run the code again, or reboot the TiVo.

            Also, you can still use the skip-to-end feature with the 30 second skip enabled: just start fast-forwarding, then press the button. In FF mode, the button reverts to skip-to-end.
