It's been one of my pet peeves that tivo can't access on demand channels. To catch up on old episodes of premium channel shows, you must have a cable box to access the "on demand" of those channels, therefore needing to pay not only for the cable cards but a cable box also.

I haven't seen a thread talking about this for quite some time, but found this info on a Best Buy customer review.

"Does everything I want it to do. Exception is I can't get on demand channels. Another 2 years before a two way multimedia card is available."

So two more years? Any thoughts?
