There is a new BellSouth TV commercial that says you can get a TIVO that you can network to your PC and take your shows with you. They partner with DirecTV, which is what I use. Does DirecTV finally have a network option? If so, can you make the R10 USB port work with it?

No, and no, sorry to say. I don't know about the DirecTV part, but there is a joint partnership between TiVo and Bellsouth at this point - more info is here. Based on that info, I'm pretty sure they'd send you a standalone, networkable, Series2 unit.Been here a long time . . . -
