Is your S3 as loud as the TCStore one?

I just got an S3 from the TiVoCommunity store and the thing sounds like a hurricane mixed with a geiger counter. TiVo claims that it's the quietest unit on the planet.

I did some digging in their forums, and it seems like yours were loud once, but are now silent. Is that true if I return this thing and order from you? Are yours really superquiet?

I can't take this noise!!!!

Yes, our drives are really, really quiet. We are certain that you will not have any significant amount of noise out of our upgraded units - no more noise than out of the stock unit. Many customers who've just purchased drives from us (so they've heard these with the stock drive and with our replacement drive) have said the noise is identical - and whisper quiet.

Been here a long time . . .
