Networking unactivated TIVO
I have purchased the 2 tuner 80 hour series 2 box and transferred my lifetime subscription. I am using the now unactivated box on another TV and intend to record manually. Is there any way that I can network with the new box using my wireless network?

You'll simply need a wireless network adapter (and of course a wireless router at home) in order to network your new dual tuner:

I have the new box networked. The problem is with the old box. Is there a way to "see" it on the network if it is unactivated. I already have it on a network adapter but can't see it from TIVO desktop or the new box.Comment

I don't believe you'll be able to see an unactivated TiVo on your network, and even if you could, it would not function without an active service agreement.That's all there is to it!Comment
