RF remote extender?

I have my tivo roamio in a closet near the family room. The RF remote works, but is spotty. Is there an RF remote extender that can help solve this problem?

There's no third-party product that can enhance that, but the external dongle could help. You could locate it higher up in the closet for better coverage.

Thanks for the reply, where does the dongle plug into the roamio? One of the usb ports?
