We're stuck with Fidelity. We live in an oak forest & satellite won't connect (because our neighbors are unwilling to let us cut down a dozen or so of their trees!). When we first got Fidelity, they "didn't think" their service would work with TIVO. They've fritzed around with their system and now "just don't know." Right now we have 3 DVR-type boxes, one on each TV. But, when they fail or are replaced, going to new one loses everything recorded. Not a happy event. They're offering something they call FIDO that sounds like Roamio or Bolt.

Does anyone have experience with their system? If so, could we just hook the incoming cable to a TIVO, have it decode what's arriving, and proceed?
