When I am watching either a broadcast channel or Netflix, the mini will out of the blue, go into a buffering mode for 20-30 secs and then continue with normal video.
I have a suspicion the reason is due to the fact I have a Powerline Adapter providing the Ethernet connection. My problem: This my only choice as I have no coax cable in the vicinity of the mini (for a Moca connection) and it is unpractical to run a level5 or 6 cat Ethernet cable from the router/modem.
Do you think I am on the right track with my analysis? Can you suggest some way in which to improve the signal to the mini to prevent the buffering?
On my other issue: Netflix would appear to buffer every night while watching my main HDTV on the Roamio. I have tried changing the Netflix setup at a slower rate, re-set the Powerline Adapter and checked the speed of my Comcast Internet (runs on average about 29mbps).
I have also read on the web that Netflix has had problems for the past six months.
Can you set me straight on the Netflix issue?
