Series2 connect to Genie Client
I have old faithful Series 2 Tivo and just upgraded to Directv. I have a Genie Client and I am trying to connect the series 2 to it by using rca cables the hdmi goes straight to the tv. How do I connect series 2 to the client?

You need the C31 breakout cable that goes to composite and L/R audio.Been here a long time . . . -
Thank You Sir, Still having problems it will either slow down the channel changing on the client or freeze the picture. Have noticed that you can change the channel on tivo and not change them on client or versa. Will need to install the 2 Head TiVo/RF IR Blaster???Comment

Yup - you likely need an IR blaster there. What else were you using?Been here a long time . . .Comment

At the moment just using the 10 pin rca compent cable run from the back of the client to the tivo. For the tv its the hmdi cable from the client to the tv. Just order the IR blaster and once arrive will install and see what happens. Thanks.Comment
