My tivo used to download 2 weeks worth of direct tv program information. As of about a month ago it will only download 1 week worth of direct tv progaming. The tivo will display a message that progaming will run out in 1 week. It does say that the last update was succesful and when I do a manual update it says it was succesful but still only 1 week of guide info. Any Ideas what is going on?

Yes, TiVo had to cut back the guide downloads to 7 days in some cases, because the massive size of the channel databases was crashing the units (eg. people with cable and/or satellite were getting a massive list of channels, which was overloading the database). -
What can I do different?
You said in some cases tivo cut back to 7 days. What are these some cases? is there something I can do different to get my 14 day programing back?Comment

You'd have to have a different programming source, as far as I know. Like switching from DISH to cable.Been here a long time . . .Comment
