I have 2 TiVos on the LAN, I'll call them A and B. Both are Series 2 DT, one is a wired connection the other wireless, though I don't think that matters. Both have IP addresses and both can connect to the TiVo servers.
When I look at Access Control in TiVo Desktop, it lists both TiVos but only TiVo-A has an IP address. TiVo-B has the right name but says "address unknown".
From TiVo-B's "Now Playing", I can see both TiVo-A and the PC (Windows 7), but for the PC it says there are no recordings. So I can't suck programming down from the PC.
I _can_ use TiVo-B to suck programs from TiVo-A. I _can_ use TiVo-A to suck programs from PC (and I have, so MAK must be right too). As a workaround I could transfer TiVo-A<-PC then TiVo-B<-TiVo-A. But I'd prefer not to.
Is there a likely reason (and easy fix) for this behaviour in Access Control?
Thanks!
