After many months of problem free operation, I've recently developed a problem transferring content from my TIVO HD to my PC with the TIVO Desktop program. Up to a few days ago, the transfers were working great. Both the automatic and manually selected transfers are now failing. Restarting the transfer (via the command in the TIVO Desktop software on the "Transfer Status" page) eventually reverts to "failed". Rebooting the PC doesn't change anything. The TIVO HD tells me there is a good wireless connection. There is plenty of room on the external hard drive I'm using as the recipient of the transfers (more than 400 Gb free). The TIVO HD is getting its programming updates fine and I can transfer programs from the TIVO Desktop back to the TIVO HD. As far as I know, nothing has changed on the PC (but with computers and software updates, you never know).
There's probably a setting in the PC (or possibly in the wireless network control software) for access to the external hard drive that has changed, but I've looked in a couple of places and don't see anything obvious. What am I missing? I'm sure its something simple.
Thanks for your help.
