TIVO transfer

I was excited when I learned that I could transfer wirelessly from my TIVO to my Mac - but I was unsuccessful when I tried to find my media access key. My unit is a Pioneer 810H - and I only have the basic TIVO service. Do you have to have a subscription to do transfers?

Yes - TiVo Basic, which is the level of service included in that unit, has no transfer capabilities. You'd need TiVo Plus for the ability to transfer.
