I have a Philips series 1 TiVo PVR-100, I believe. I bought your external modem, and your website said that I need to have the serial-to-stereo connector to make this modem work. I have that cord because it came with my series 2 TiVo, but I don't have serial connection on my Series 1 TiVo to make this connection. My need for the external modem stems from the fact that I switched to my cable company's VOIP service from my POTS line, and now this TiVo won't connect. I have my original lifetime service on this box, and I don't want to lose it or take on any additional cost to upgrade beyond this modem. Please let me know how I need to connect this modem because the modem didn't come with any specific instructions.
