4 GB Premiere turning into a brick after Multi-Room Viewing transfers

I've had two 4GB Premieres go into green screens after MRV transfers. They would both just restart, then go into green screens twice but back to TiVo Central, and finally go into an infinite green screen loop.

From what I've gathered from you guys and TiVo, this only affects Premieres with 4GBs installed (2 int/2 ext). Has there been any progress in discovering the cause? Thanks.

Update: My third 4TB Premiere just froze, and then on replugging, went into the infinite green screen loop. This time, I didn't even do an MRV transfer (I don't think). One of you mentioned that this happens even without stuff being being transferred; is this true?

Yup - looks like it can happen without transfers.

We think we've got a solution but it'll take some time.

Been here a long time . . .
