Tivo Series 2 and AT&T U-versa

I have just switched from Comcast to AT&T U-verse. I would like to connect my Series 2 if even to just watch what is saved. I keep getting Searching for a sign. Is it possible to combine the two and if so what am I missing. Thanks

TiVo and U-verse really don't work too well together. You should be able to get a standard definition signal into the TiVo out of your Uverse box, but you might not be able to get the TiVo to control the Uverse box.
