Will the "Stereo to Serial Cable" on the http://www.weaknees.com/tivo-cables.php page allow my Humax DVR to control the Cable Tuner? I lost both the serial and IR connectors and hope this cable will work as a replacement.
I really cannot say for sure. It depends on whether your specific cable box (and firmware) supports serial control, and it also depends on the type of connector.
