Is there any difference between the "TIVO" wireless adapter and one you can buy anywhere else?

Yes. TiVo makes two wireless adapters. The G is a USB-WiFi adapter, and it's the only one most TiVos can use. The N is an ethernet bridge, similar to many others out there, but tuned for TiVos.

If it's a USB, no, it won't work. If it's an ethernet to wireless bridge, there's a good chance it would work.Been here a long time . . .Comment
